SafariQuote is provided by SafariQuote Namibia, 5 Maple Street, Swakopmund, Namibia (“SafariQuote”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the SafariQuote website and application.
If you are a subscribing tour operator, you will also sign a Service Agreement with us. Where that signed agreement and this page differ, the signed agreement prevails.
SafariQuote is software. It gives your business a private workspace in which you build and price your own itineraries, using a shared rate book together with whatever rates you have negotiated yourself.
We are not a tour operator. We do not sell travel, take bookings, hold client money, contract with travellers, or deal with your suppliers on your behalf. Every quote produced in SafariQuote is issued by you, to your client, under your own business name and licences.
An account belongs to one tour operator. Sign-in details are personal to your business and must not be shared with, sold to, or used on behalf of another operator. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password secure.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.
Current pricing is a one-time sign-up fee of N$500, plus a monthly subscription: N$950 per month on the Beta plan, or N$1,850 per month on the Standard plan. The plan available to you depends on when you sign up, and is shown to you before you commit.
Payment is by bank transfer against an invoice, payable within 15 days. We do not collect or store card details anywhere in this application. The sign-up fee is not refundable once your account has been created. Persistently unpaid invoices may lead to suspension, and we will contact you before suspending anything.
We will give you at least 30 days notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
SafariQuote maintains a shared rate book covering many lodges and services. It is offered in good faith and kept as current as we can, but it is supplied as-is: rates change, suppliers make errors, and availability is never guaranteed by us.
Every quote is an estimate until your supplier confirms it. You are responsible for checking a quote before you send it to a client, and for the rates you enter yourself. We are not party to any booking you make.
Your travellers, quotes and negotiated rates remain yours. We do not sell them, share them with other operators, or use them to build anything for anyone else. The application is built so that one operator cannot reach another operator’s data at all.
You can export your data at any time while your account is active. If your subscription ends, your data stays available for export for 30 days, after which we may delete it. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
We work to keep SafariQuote running and available, but it is provided as-is and we do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure. There will occasionally be maintenance, and there may be outages at the services we build on. Please do not rely on SafariQuote as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
You agree not to: share or resell access to your account; extract the shared rate book in bulk or reproduce it as a competing product; attempt to reach another operator’s data; or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on.
The software, its design, the quote-generation methods and the structure of the rate book remain ours. Your subscription gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SafariQuote for your own quoting business for as long as your subscription is current. It grants you nothing else.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for supplier pricing errors, availability changes, booking failures, travel disruption, lost profit or business, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Our total liability to you in any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to it.
Either of us may end the subscription on 30 days written notice. We may suspend or end it immediately for unpaid invoices, unlawful use, or a serious breach of these terms. Invoices already issued remain payable. On termination, the export window in section 6 applies.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia. If something goes wrong between us, we will both try to sort it out in good-faith discussion before anyone goes near a court.
